What types of neodymium magnetic tape are there?

Self-adhesive neodymium magnetic tape – what you should know?

The neodymium power magnet tape is versatile, easy to cut and remove, and can be useful in a wide variety of areas. For a long time, magnetic foils and tapes could only be made from ferrite. However, these only have a fraction of the adhesive force of neodymium magnets.
As the demand for stronger adhesive material has grown over the years, neodymium power magnetic strips have been developed, which have an adhesive force or adhesion of up to 415 g/cm².

In contrast, for ferro tape magnets, this is only around 102 g/cm².
Neodymium magnetic tape is therefore four times as strong on average.
The adhesive tape is therefore ideal for particularly demanding fastening solutions. To ensure that it meets the highest demands, the parts are also provided with high-quality 3M adhesive.
This ensures that the tape holds even heavy objects securely to the adhesive back.

For which applications is neodymium magnetic tape suitable?

Our neodymium magnetic tape is ideal if you want to attach small or large objects to furniture such as refrigerators or iron shelves. However, the metal surface should be flat and not dented or scratched. If the wall is uneven, the adhesive force of the tape can be greatly reduced.

Specific uses for neodymium magnetic tape include:

● Hanging seasonal decorations:
Advent calendars or monthly plans can be easily attached using the tape - as can protective devices such as mosquito nets. Simply stick the neodymium adhesive bases to the window or door frame and clamp the mosquito net between the strips. This way you don't have to laboriously tear it off again in winter and possibly destroy it.
You can use the magnets to remove the net at any time as soon as you no longer need it.

● Install temporary signs in the office:
You could hang them in the office area or in the shop window, for example.

● Provided with labeling:
It is also possible to write on the neodymium magnetic tape - for example with a white highlighter. This is particularly useful if you are working in kindergarten or school, making diagrams or mind maps.
