The diametrically magnetized magnets do not have the poles on the two circular surfaces, but parallel to the diameter. This means that the adhesive forces of the axial ring magnets cannot be compared with the diametrical ones. Since some customers keep asking about the adhesive force, we measured this ring magnet by pulling it according to the picture.

  • Safety Notice

    NdFeB magnets are hard and brittle. Especially with thinner dimensions / higher adhesive forces, these can easily break or splinter! An uncontrolled impact of two magnets as well as an external, mechanical shock or pressure load should therefore be avoided!
  • Determination of the magnetic force

    The adhesive force of our magnets is determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel S235JR (ST37) with a thickness of 10 mm by the vertical withdrawal of the magnet (1kg ~ 10 N). A different value down to -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value is exceeded. Please note that for thinner, painted and not absolute plan undergrounds the adhesive force represents only one raction of the specified values.
