What exactly is a neodymium hook magnet?

Our hook magnets consist of a steel pot in which a strong neodymium magnet is embedded. The metal housing protects the magnet from damage and increases the adhesive force.
The hook of the classic hook magnet is located on the back of the magnet plate and is screwed into the existing threaded bushing with an internal thread.

The typical neodymium hook magnets are available in varying sizes - from 10 to 75 mm, are made of zinc and can hold weights from 2 to 160 kg.
They are designed for vertical mounting.

 ✔ Magnetic plate with carabiner
The magnetic plates with carabiner are a little less robust than normal hook magnets but are much more flexible.

Important: To achieve optimum holding power, the magnet system must rest directly on the metal surface. A thin iron sheet or a coating can reduce the holding power very quickly. Why shouldn’t hooks with neodymium magnets be heated above 80 degrees?

Temperatures above 80 °C damage the structure of the neodymium magnets. They lose some of their adhesive power.
It is therefore advisable not to use the hooks in rooms with particularly high temperatures.
If you need extremely heat-resistant models, you should use ferrite magnets. These can withstand heat up to 250 °C.
