Product information

Inexpensive ring magnet made of neodymium with counterbore. In our standard range, we only offer this version with a nickel coating. We can supply a small remaining quantity with a gold coating due to a customised production.

This ring magnet with a 90° counterbore made of neodymium can be securely screwed on with a countersunk head screw. The 4.5 mm hole is designed for a screw with a diameter of 4 mm.

The south pole of this magnet is on the counterbore side.

Note: You cannot use two of these magnets in pairs, i.e. the magnets do not adhere to each other with the countersunk side, but repel each other. If this magnet is only to adhere to metal, the magnetisation direction/polarity is irrelevant.

Note: Neodymium magnets can break if too much force is applied. We recommend a maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm when screwing on this magnet.

Safety Notice
NdFeB magnets are hard and brittle. Especially with thinner dimensions / higher adhesive forces, these can easily break or splinter! An uncontrolled impact of two magnets as well as an external, mechanical shock or pressure load should therefore be avoided!
Determination of the magnetic force
The adhesive force of our magnets is determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel S235JR (ST37) with a thickness of 10 mm by the vertical withdrawal of the magnet (1kg ~ 10 N). A different value down to -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value is exceeded. Please note that for thinner, painted and not absolute plan undergrounds the adhesive force represents only one raction of the specified values.
